Therapist/Consultant

Mary is the founder and Clinical Director of Valley Counseling and Consulting LLC. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a seasoned therapist. Passionate about working with people, Mary has a breadth of knowledge commensurate with her extensive experience. A business owner for over 20 yrs, with more than 35 years of counseling and consulting experience, serving individuals, couples, families and business groups. She has served as an adjunct professor at Shippensburg University. She is an advocate for Military service members and their families. She earned her Masters Degree at the University of Maryland at Baltimore and her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has had additional training in CBT, Mindfulness and ERP therapies. She  is an active member of the National Association of Social Work, in addition to being the owner and Clinical Director at Valley Counseling and Consulting. 

Mary's entrepreneurial zest has been instrumental in the start-up and growth of two successful commercial organizations and in the clinical development of a third. A business professional, Mary combines her knowledge of people and her formal training in systems theory, to offer business consulting services that touch her community in a unique fashion. She offers organizational  behavioral assessments,  EAP services, critical incident stress debriefing (CISD) and professional training and development.
